Post Preface: This blog entry does not have much to do with actual clay shooting as it is more of a personal statement of why the site went stale and reasons for bringing it back.
Life happens. One day you are working in the corporate world, no wife, no kids and an endless amount of time to dwell deeper and deeper into your new clay shooting hobby. Then, before you know it, you find yourself changing diapers, running your own business and the vast amount of time you had for shooting turns to dust faster than a clay shot with an extra full choke. Well, that may not be your exact story but it is what happened to me.About a few months after creating this website and dumping as much time into it as possible I let things go, I let down any new followers I may have gained and most importantly I failed at creating the resource filled blog that I set out to make. I left the Corporate environment, went into business with my Father, got married, watched my Wife crush her way through Grad School and topped it all off with my greatest accomplishment of becoming a Father to a beautiful baby girl. With all of those events happening in such a short amount of time I, unfortunately, had to put shooting on the back burner.
Now that I stopped jamming life-changing events in back to back months, life has given me enough of a break that I can get back trying to build what I set out to many years ago. I am officially relaunching this blog site with the same hopes and dreams that I had for it in the past but this time with a roadmap and vision.
I may not have the time to shoot or compete as much as should or rather like to but I do make up for it by reading up on the latest trends in shooting sports and hope to compile the mass amount of info out there on the web and in the field into weekly blog posts.
Feel free to contact me on any of the Social Media Platforms or through this site. I always love to talk shop and meet fellow clay enthusiasts.
Glad to see you back at it. Keep it up
